Is it an offence to lie in response to a Freedom of Information request?
I made requests when I was writing my book Weirdo Mosher Freak about the murder of Sophie Lancaster and received different answers to the same questions… I now know the written answers I was given were not true. This case resulted in someone’s death and I believe it is possible that may have been avoided if the correct information had been passed on in the first place.
I would be interested to know your views on this matter.
I really think you would be interested in my story (on my website) – it involves illegal practice by a bank & it’s lawyers, false accounting, freedom of information, public domain data etc. I am still compaiging to get the story revealed but mainstream media seem terrified of it!

Publication of all the responses to government consultations would help transparency.

I watched your Ted.com video and thought your message was on point. Thanks for what you do.
Like Sam I also watched your Ted Talk and found it very interesting, but also frustrating to the extreme.(seems we have a parasite problem)
